Roger ’82 and Jane ’84 Stichter: A case against conspicuous consumption
Professor Roger '82 Stichter and his spouse Jane '84 aims to show how living with enough helps us give away more
Did you know that Goshen College’s accounting program is consistently ranked among the best in Indiana? That’s why three of the top 10 accounting firms in the country come to campus every year to recruit GC students directly. It’s not unusual for 100 percent of GC accounting students to have a job lined up before they graduate; some even begin their senior year with a job offer already in place!
In GC’s top-ranked accounting program, you’ll learn how to solve problems and make decisions in a variety of business contexts. You will have two, three or four internships before you graduate, including a required, paid senior internship. These hands-on experiences will prepare you for a full-time position, often at one of the firms where you intern.
Many firms say that there is “something different” about Goshen College students, that they are “mature, confident and competent.” The college’s focus on intercultural and international education (80% of students study abroad), coupled with a strong accounting curriculum, will give you an edge when you are looking for employment.
