Do you believe that music is nourishing to the soul? At Goshen College, we wholeheartedly believe that music is a spiritual endeavor – that’s why we offer the music in worship minor.
In the music in worship program, your interdisciplinary courses will explore the ways music heals, revives, soothes and transforms people while also giving you hands-on opportunities for music-leading and worship planning. You’ll take music, theater and religion classes and have the opportunity to lead worship as a song-leader in our on-campus chapels, convocations and various religious services.
At GC, you will go on a spiritual and musical journey as you learn about music in a religious context. When you graduate with the music in worship minor, you will be an enlightened musician and servant-hearted leader.

The Goshen College Vox Profundi low voice choir will spend their spring break touring and performing in churches and schools in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio from Feb. 26 through March 4, with a home concert on Sunday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.
