Our award-winning Goshen College broadcasting program is designed to create a professional training environment for students moving into the industry. You will be immersed in real-world video and audio experiences from your first year.
At GC, you can go behind the microphone and host your own show on 91.1 FM The Globe, named Best College Station in the Nation for the second time in three years by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS). You can dive into reporting and anchoring on The Correspondent, Goshen College’s award-winning television news program. And if you are interested in film and media production, you can work for FiveCore Media, our full-service professional video production company. Some classes will even take you to places like Greece and Kenya to make documentaries.
Real-world experience is at the heart of the GC broadcasting program. It is how our small college radio station manages to compete with and defeat every college and university in the state and across the country. And it’s the reason you belong here at Goshen College!
