English Learners License

Requirements for English Learners Licensure

1. Submit application
2. One letter of reference from an administrator or supervisor (form provided)
3. Statement of purpose (1 page)
4. Digital copy of Indiana teaching license

Deadline for all documents:  June 1, 2022

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5 OR have demonstrated success in a P-12 classroom
• At least 23 years of age
• Basic skills through one of the following paths:
  • successfully pass the Praxis exam
  • have a current teaching license in another subject
  • Show proof of a minimum ACT composite score of 24 or SAT score of 1100 in reading and math
