How is Campus Post responding to COVID-19?
Until further notice Campus Post will continue to receive daily US Postal Mail, UPS, Fedex, and Amazon deliveries. Campus Post and our delivery agents continue to pay attention and follow CDC guidance regarding mail handling and distribution. The CDC and the US Postal Service have indicated a very low risk related to transmission of Covid-19 via mail or packages, and all delivery services have communicated that they are taking extra precautions during this season.
Internally, the ITSMedia/Campus Post service desk is maintaining significantly increased disinfection protocols, including wiping down surfaces routinely throughout the workday, sanitizing mail bins, and ensuring that workers handling mail and packages are maintaining appropriate hygiene protocols such as frequent handwashing. Importantly, we are asking that our student employees and staff stay home from work if they feel sick.
Employees and students on campus are requested to follow any signage posted at the Campus Post service desk, and wait in the designated spaces so that only one person is at the desk at any given time.
Please see information below regarding how mail and packages will be handled for students and employees;
FAQ for Students
Will students remaining on campus be able to get mail and packages from the ITSM/Campus post service desk?
Yes, mail and packages will be processed as usual, Students will be notified by email when a piece of mail or a package has arrived, and will be responsible for picking up their item from the service desk. Mail and Packages will be held for as long as necessary, even if it is until classes resume in August. The two week hold limit will not be enforced during this time.
I accidentally sent a package to campus but I am no longer on campus. Will Campus Post forward packages?
For packages that arrive via First Class US Postal Service, yes, Campus Post will make every effort to re-unite students with packages. UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and other delivery companies do NOT offer package forwarding services. So anything that arrives via any service other than the US Postal Service First Class postage can only be returned to the sender.
In order to forward your mail and First Class packages to you we will need your current address. Please use the Forwarding Mail form to update your current address with campus post, even if it is your home address:
When shopping online or ordering books for May term be sure to update your delivery location so that items are not accidentally delivered to campus.
What do I need to do to make sure my mail comes to my home address instead of campus?
Students who have left campus need to make sure to change their address so that mail is routed to their current place of residence. Places to update your address include;
–Medical and Health providers
–Banks or Credit Card companie
–Magazine and subscription services
–Online clothing stores that send out catalogs

Will Printing and Mailing be open so I can send mail or packages?
Until further notice, the Printing an Mailing Office will be open from 9AM to 5PM M-F and will continue to offer printing and outbound mail services, however there will need to be longer delivery times as we are operating with a reduction in staff. Turnaround times will also be impacted by availability of manufacturer’s service techs and increased delivery times for supplies. A good rule of thumb is to triple the time expected for mailing jobs and double the time expectations for printing jobs
