Student Technology Assistants, or STAs, help staff the campus HelpDesk, providing telephone and walk-in support to faculty, staff, and students.
We look for individuals who have familiarity with computers and their operation, but we especially like to hire people who enjoy helping others.
Other characteristics we look for are:
- an ability to think creatively and problem solve
- an upbeat, friendly, customer service attitude
- enthusiasm for continual growth and learning
- ability to communicate with others, and be understood by them over the telephone, in English
- a professional demeanor and appearance
