N/A After March 15 we will review applications on a rolling basis.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • TOEFL scores (International students only)
  • No GRE scores are required
  • Although applicants may come from diverse backgrounds and educational fields, all applicants are encouraged to have at least one college-level course in the biophysical sciences.

Additionally, please submit the following to the Graduate & Continuing Studies admissions office: adult@goshen.edu

  1. Resume
  2. Official transcripts of all colleges/universities attended
  3. TOEFL scores (international students only)
  4. Two letters of reference
  5. Personal written statement:
    2-4 page typed essay illustrating your motivation for pursuing a Master of Arts in Environmental Education. Include responses to the following:

    • What qualities do you have that would make you an effective environmental educator?
    • Why do you believe it is important to teach children to be good stewards of human and natural communities?
  6. Interview with the program director (to be scheduled after review of other application materials)
