Fall Semester  ($4,080)

Educ 300 2 cr Exceptional Learners: Elementary – T,R 12:30-1:45 p.m.
Educ 301* 2 cr Curriculum Studies: Math – M,W,F 1:00-3:00 pm.
Field experience as arranged with professor
Educ 303* 3 cr Literacy I:  Developmental – M,W,F 8:00-9:50 a.m.

Educ 401* 1 cr Child Development Practicum – arranged with professor

Spring Semester  ($4,080)

Educ 304* 2 cr Curriculum Studies: Social Studies – M,W,F 1:00-1:50 p.m.

Full days for 12 weeks, plus additional time
to complete a professional portfolio

  • All candidates must take Educ 301, 303, 304, 308, 406, and 410 at Goshen College. In unusual circumstances, alternate courses taken at other institutions may be substituted for Educ 344, 307 or 309, but only with the consent of the teacher education licensing adviser in the Teacher Education office (574-535-7440).
  • Courses listed for 2 credit hours require the work usually associated with a 3 credit hour undergraduate course. Please budget your time accordingly.
