Fall Student-Athletes: Friday, August 5 and Friday, August 12

The schedule is the same for student-athletes arriving on August 5 and August 12.
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Fall Athletics Check-In | Welcome Center
All student-athletes will go through the check-in line to verify financial aid, confirm payment for the fall semester, and pick up a room key. New students will also pick up their ID card (if they uploaded their picture ahead of time), or have it made, and returning students will have their cards checked.
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Move-In to temporary housing | Miller Hall
After you’ve checked in and received your key, head over to Miller Hall to move into your temporary housing.
1 – 1:30 p.m. — Parent Meeting | Connector (1st floor)
Parents and support persons are invited to meet the Athletic Director and other staff for brief welcome
2 – 4 p.m. — Athletics Meeting | Umble Center
Required meeting for all student-athletes arriving on this day.
Meals: all fall student-athletes have breakfast at the RFC starting August 6 – 20. Lunch and Dinner will be at the dining hall or as directed by the coach. All fall student-athletes have meals provided until meal plans start August 21 (beginning with dinner). Beginning August 22, Orientation and Athletics will cover meals for commuter fall student-athletes through Sunday, August 29.
New International Students: Thursday, August 18 – Friday, August 19
- All new international students (first-years and transfers) will have a mandatory international student orientation on Saturday, August 20 beginning at 9 a.m. EST.
- All new residential international students should make travel arrangements to arrive on campus either Thursday, August 18 or Friday, August 19. There will be a pick-up from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport each of these days. Flight information should be shared with the Admissions Office once you’ve confirmed your travel plans.
- New international students that have been approved to live off-campus should arrive in time to participate in the mandatory international student orientation.
Meals: All new international students will have meals provided begining Thursday, August 18 until meal plans start August 21 (beginning with dinner). Beginning August 22, Orientation will cover meals for new international students that commuter fall student-athletes through Sunday, August 29.
New First-Year Students & Transfer Students (with less than 16 credits): Sunday, August 21
- Residential students should plan to arrive on campus Sunday, August 21 between 1 – 3:30 p.m. Students will have an opportunity to pick their move-in timeslot at the beginning of August.
- Residence Life will email roommate and room information mid-July.
- Commuter students will have an opportunity to live on campus during Welcome Week at no cost.
- Board (meal) plans begin on Sunday, August 21 with dinner. Meals will be covered for all students who do not have a meal plan from dinner on Sunday, August 21 through dinner on Sunday, August 28. Sign-in sheets will be available in the dining hall.
New Transfer Students (more than 16 credits): Friday, August 26
- Students should plan to arrive on campus Friday, August 26 between 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. An assigned check-in and move-in time will be emailed in August.
- Board (meal) plans will be active and meals will be covered for all students who do not have a meal plan, or have a limited meal plan, from lunch on Friday, August 26 through dinner on Sunday, August 28.
