I was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. I come from a large musical-oriented family of eight…five boys and three girls. My parents kept God in the center of our family. I graduated from IU South Bend with a Bachelor’s in Communications (Public Speaking). While at IUSB, I was a dedicated member of the Civil Rights Heritage Center. I am also fortunate to have a Master’s in Christian Formation from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, in Elkhart, IN. Ever since elementary school, I have studied and been passionate about African-American History and racial justice. I am also an ordained minister. I have been blessed to receive a quality education, and now it is my season to help others receive that same quality of education as well, as an Admissions Counselor at Goshen College. By His grace….
